Provincial Election in NS

Provincial Election in NS

Premier Tim Houston called an election earlier today. His Progressive Conservative Party is strongly positioned to win again, likely a majority. Presumably calling the election early was an advantageous move for them.

They seem to have been friendly to Signal since taking office in August 2021. I would guess they would be the friendliest party to mining, based on their position on the political spectrum.

My hunch is it is in Signal's favour, and the new merged company's favour, to have a conservative government lock in another 3-4 years of power.
