RE:Check out Marin Sirona's problem was the pharma mindset. In other words, only developing active ingredients and licensing them out.
It took them a long time to understand that a) they don't have enough resources for medical development and b) their cosmetic ingredients don't make any money through licenses.
Unfortunately, they have thrown too much money out of the window (diabetic, antiviral, consulting/bad marketing to push the share price) so that there is nothing left for the only right decision: the self-marketing of cosmetics.
