VoltaExplore pause may be a blessing...With the the chinese consortium of battery makers advancing Solid State Battery technology, Quantum Space starting low level production next nyear for OEM car manufacturer road test, Factorial/Stellantis partnership and Toyota both declaring SSB production roll out by 2027 or 2028.... ..Chinese already have a hybrid SSB/Liquid battery on the road with 600 mile range ...

I am not sure that the timing would have been right if continuing with a VoltaExplore plant.

The softer state of EV industry at this point gives time for new technology to surface that may wipe out what the industry counts on today.
