EMPS Begins Drilling Third Lithium Well at Mansur Project Last week, EMP Metals Corp. (Ticker: EMPS.c, EMPPF for U.S. investors) announced that it has started drilling a third lithium well, named "1-29," at its Mansur lithium brine project in Saskatchewan.
EMP Metals is a Canadian lithium exploration company that focuses on direct lithium extraction (DLE) technologies. It holds around 200,000 net acres of subsurface dispositions and strategic wellbores across Southern Saskatchewan.
The drilling effort at Mansur aims to expand the established lithium pool and support Mansur's potential to become an independently viable project.

Previous Results: Earlier well re-entries at Mansur reported lithium concentrations ranging from 96 to 148 mg/l, and brine flow rates up to 528 m³/day.

Competitive Advantages: The brine at Mansur is both high in lithium concentration and free of contaminants like HS or oilfield residues, with extraction occurring at shallow depths—factors that could reduce costs.
