RE:3rd quarterYes, last year the 3rd quarter report & update was Nov 3rd.
They issued a N.R. October 20th ( talking last year), to announce the upcoming quarterly review.
Looking back histroically, they have issued the updates, +/- a few days only each year.
Obviously wont be the 3rd as that is Sunday.
So, looking at histroy, they are a bit behind.as/typical historical reports, but not out of bounds.
Legally they have until Nov 29th to report Q3 results.
I did yrs ago, take to the time to look all the way back to 1999.Again, 99.9% within the first week of November.
That is going by memory & if Im wrong, is not important.
Why the delay?...now?
Could be none-other than just not done yet.
We could speculate & go into the "being bought out " route.
First on that. I agree 100% with notable. We are at a major cross roads.
My opinion only, I expect to hear about a buyout, before the end of this year.
I could fill a few pages why. With details. Just to condense, my opion: They have little other options.
The trials and exiting positive status.
MBC "many still alive at trial end point". Essentially doubleing exsting standard of care results.
The Pancreatic cancer endorsement from CGAR & the $5million grant to add an additional arm.
All very positive signals.
making ONC worthh much musch more than present day trading ranges.
Outside of that speculation. I did own a few compaies that have been bought out.
The one foe example, completed its year end update. On its regular time.
made zero mention of any business changes or thoughts of any.
Threee weeks later there was a trading hault and a public offering of a take over.
The package sent to shareholders to vote on included the background of ALL negotiations.
Revealing that the public announcment came about 9 months after initial talks to offeres & counter offers.
Meaning at time of the year end they were knee deep iinto gettng to the final proposal.
Juat as with that company. Until the documents are signed and brought public, there is business as ussual.
Could ONC be in such a situation?
I have no idea either way. Any one saying so such as they never will or are not. Also have no idea.
For thoise who think the S.P. could be an indicator of take over..."someone always knows"
When ONC did the A.N. deal. back 2015 or so. There was very little Sp activity. Before hand.
I have said many times regarding a take over. We will know when it is announced and not before.
Saying all that. My prediction is before the end of this year.
Regarding the "shorts" I look forward to that moring N.R. with a trading hault.
Even a very low-ball number of $1billion would equate to about $12/PS.
Imagine having to cover that ???
