FrankJust to point out the amount of associated gas that XOM processes. Yellowtail, slated to come on line next year 2025 built an FPSO that'll process 250,000 bbl oil per day, 450 million cubic feet of gas per day and with storage capacity of 2 million barrels. It will bring Guyana XOM output up to 900,000 bbl per day. I wonder if the oil markets are already pricing in this new supply in the futures market.
Also another article says that Total/APA having already FID'd the Granmorgu project in Suriname for $10.5 billion has said that the associated gas potential is enormous. Suriname is currently in talks with Guyana exploring ways to jointly develop their hydrocarbon reserves since the hydrocarbon fields abut each other.
So lots is happening in the Guyana Basin with much more about to happen. Anyway here's the Yellowtail link: https://oilnow.gy/featured/one-of-the-largest-investments-in-guyanas-history-on-track-for-2025-start-up/
