Royal Helium Ltd. V.RHC

Alternate Symbol(s):  RHCCF | V.RHC.WT.A | V.RHC.WT.B

Royal Helium Ltd. is a Canada-based company, with a primary focus on the production and development of helium and associated gases and is currently producing helium from its Steveville project in Southern Alberta. Its helium reservoir at Steveville is carried primarily with nitrogen. Nitrogen is not a greenhouse gas (GHG) and therefore have a low GHG footprint when compared to plants in other jurisdictions that rely on large scale natural gas production for helium extraction.

Weil Resource Group

Weil Resource GroupMilley and I just recently conducted our own Helium research field trip into southeastern Alberta. We happened to stay in Medicine Hat for one of our evenings and were fortunate to learn of some helium activity in that area. The Weil Resource Group (a Virginia based privately held company) has a proprietary production facility near the city and planning an expansion. This company started its activity in Mankato, Sask. 10 years ago. At their well at Dunsmore, near Medicine Hat they have a modular refining plant designed by the company installed and operating. Their modular design allows them to move to other sites in a much more cost effective manner comparatively. They also use their own network, equipment and containers to transport their helium to customers.
Now, at a nickle a share, they could possibly take over the nearby Stevenville plant and improve the production process there. It's nice to know that there are people out there that know how to actually do these things!
