Cal Nano will be attending and presenting at the 5th International Workshop on Spark Plasma Sintering (SPS) in Toulouse, France, from November 6th to 8th, 2024. This event marks the 20th anniversary of the CNRS SPS national platform of Toulouse and promises to be a significant gathering for professionals in the SPS community.

This workshop is a fantastic opportunity for us to catch up with our international colleagues and share insights on the latest developments in SPS technology. We are particularly looking forward to visiting our partner facility, Norimat, to witness firsthand the innovative work they are doing in the field.

With over 30 presentations expected, the workshop will cover a wide range of topics, including densification mechanisms, the influence of various parameters like current paths and temperature gradients, and advances in modeling the SPS process. We’ll be spreading the word about our latest advancements at Cal Nano and are eager to learn from the international community to further improve our technologies.

The event also offers an interdisciplinary platform for scientists from academia and industry to discuss breakthroughs in Cold, Flash, and HP-SPS techniques. Topics like the hybridization of processes to develop original materials, multi-materials of complex shapes, and new application perspectives will be highlighted.

We are thrilled about the opportunity to broaden our knowledge, network with fellow professionals, and contribute to the ongoing advancements in SPS technology. If you’re attending the workshop, we look forward to connecting with you there!
