RE:A dose of reality I don't believe Rio will take us out by May which I consider a good thing. I think we'll see a run about June or July next year with Agnico taking a stab at us. Agnico has a stake in WhiteGold, but I believe they have positioned themselves next to Casino on purpose. They want a piece of the cake. If there were another Casino in the Yukon, it would have been discovered at least 60 years ago. Snowline is good, but it is no Casino. As Blue used to say "we are the Jewel of the Yukon". One thing to remember is orogenic mounds and their correspondilly mineral rich deposits and porphyries. These porphyries occur in clusters and are located near to where plates abutt. Prehistoric seismic activity has forced minerals up close to the surface. Casino is one of these porphyries. Not only that, but it is the motherlode. But the motherlode does not appear in isolation. Orogenic mounds always appear in clusters. Acquring the Canada Creek properties was sheer genius. WRN has no less than 5 porphyries on its properties. Casino is the largest. And Casino is in the top 5 or 6 large scale undeveloped Copper/Gold porphyries in the world. I hold shares in most of these other large scale porphyries, too, except for Pebble which I wouldn't touch with a ten foot pole. Casino has tentatively been given a 27 year mine life, but is more likely 100 years. Then we have another four porphyries on our original land holding as well as the Canada Creek. We have Betty just to the north of us, and we have the newly discovered Cascadia porphyry just to the south of us. In total, the White Gold district of the Yukon may well be the most significant Copper/Gold district in the world once infrastructure is in place. And Casino is the motherlode of the whole district. Other projects will be involved, but Casino will be the one that puts the Yukon on the map. Patience is a virtue.
Disclaimer: I own no shares in WGO or Cascadia. I have mentioned these only for reference. I do own shares in other copper/gold porphyries through out the world, but I have never touched Pebble (and never will). My current focus is a mineral other than Copper and Gold, but I am holding all my copper and gold positions. Finally, do your own DD.
