RE:RE:RE:Share Buybacks Always be weary of people who are always bullish or always bearish. Always think to yourself: "Why is this person pushing this stock on TV for my benefit, for free?" It's not for you they're doing it, it's for them. Many of the times, they pump it while they're dumping it. Even if you do your own research and do your best to understand what is happening, unforeseen things happen (like any other industry, but oil has been dramatic in the past decade). I should have avoided all the drama throughout the years and sold everything back in Q1/Q2 2022. I personally (IMO) think oil will never be $100+ again in the short term unless there is a major geopolitical event like the Russia/Ukraine invasion... Sustained $100+ would kill the world economy that is debt ridden, and no way the powers that be will let that happen. Really, long term O&G investing is just slow financial suicide, unless you trade it.
