RE:RE:A Pipe Dream that is D.O.A.The North Rackla site can only be accessed by helicopter from the Rackla Airstrip connecting from Mayo by fixed-wing aircraft. So, you think without an access road, the Co. will transport 10 mt or 20 mt or whatever amount of rocks to a smelter by air?? Also, don't be naive & be poorly informed, the ores have to be processed on site into concentrates to be transported out for refining. Read up on the RedDog Mine presentation and the Trail Smelter process for refining Zn, Pb & Ag concentrate for Red Dog Mine.
I recalled Chad at the penultimate AGM 2 years ago said that North Rackla would not be an underground mine. The permit does not allow any underground structures. In addition, he also said it would not be economically feasible to transport by air. Were you not paying attention, Pennymaker??
