Green Credits

Green CreditsFor all the love around here for Republicans and their policies, I believe they are failing to take in some consequencial circumstances that are possibly going to occur if Trump gets in.

Lots of US firms are rushing to nail down green-energy projects to ensure they receive their portions of federal grants, funding that faces tight governmental deadlines and potential disruption or outright cancellation from the presidentail election.

All the delays Greenbriar has incurred, insisting on proceeding "outside" of the RFP process may come back to haunt them ultimately.

The schedule for this RFP is:
October 24, 2024                    RFP issued
October 24, 2024                    The Interconnection Request Queue Website opens
October 24, 2024                    The Tranche 4 Website opens
November 7, 2024                  The Interconnection Request Queue Website closes
November 25, 2024                Bid submissions due by noon AST
December 31, 2024                Accepted Contracts submitted to PREB for approval

By the time they actually award contracts the credits may be already gone.
Likely the reason PR is trying to expedite this tranche so quickly.
