RE:RE:RE:RE:Scott Petsel interviewed yesterdayMMG's Formo deposit is situated five kms from Hecla's mill complex.
Hecla's Keno West and Hecla's Rakla properties are sandwhiched between MMG's Keno district holdings:
https://www.hecla.com/exploration#racklaexplorationproject
Hl have stated they are going full bore/all in with their Yukon position and plans/vision for the future.
HL will want to obtain these MMG properties to control the district. It is up to MMG to maximise value.
If HL are not offering fair value it is up to MMG to prove up Formo, etc. and attract other suitors to up the ante.
MMG is in the driver's seat. Keno is not situated on a mountain top with nothing around for 30 miles like DV's Kitsault project.
Transporting the ore off the side of a mountain down into Alice Arm some 50 kms away to ship the concentrate to Japan is a nightmare comparing to MMG's properties that adjoin Hecla and their mill.
MMG management have already spoken on this issue. It is up to MMG to make Hecla pay fair value.
Both Scott and Greg discuss Hecla and Keno below:

Q:Are you in discussions with Hecla?
"We've always had a good relationship with Alexco-who Hecla acquired last year-and we continue those discussions with Hecla.
What's exciting about our property- I think even from their (Hecla's) perspective- is that we are on the same road (The Silver Trail Highway),the same geology ....but these are potentially open....very shallow,we start right at surface deposits that can be open pittable.
At 5:26 Greg explains how and when Hecla will partner/process Keno Hill ore that MMG owns:
"We're certainly amenable to that ourselves ( running MMG ore through Hecla's processing plant) in terms of best to maximise value. It's great to have that mill. It's great to have that infrastructure there.
I think in the longer term we see that other half of the district (East Keno) has a lot of unexplored value so let's develop that value and understand it."

Master Plan:
Scott Petsel talks partering with Hecla and/or Hecla monetizing some of their assets @ 8:36 :
Question: Toll milling with Hecla/Hecla interest in buying the project ?
Answer: "I think all of those options are on the table. We want to stay within our expertise and that would mean partnering with Hecla, having Hecla monetise some of our assets for us to allow exploration in the district or finding another company like a Discovery Silver...."
"...or finding another company like Discovery SIlver" to develop East Keno for them: "They might like to have some resources in a more secure jurisdiction like the Yukon."
