IVANA

IVANA

Quote -
However, at Ivana a lower, thicker, zone of mineralization was discovered.  The uranium mineralization of the lower zone has many characteristics of primary-style uranium mineralization.  There are some oxide minerals, but mineralization is predominately coffinite, a uranium bearing silicate mineral.  As such, Ivana may be a hybrid of both surficial and sandstone-type uranium and vanadium deposits.

The known uranium and vanadium mineralization that has been found within the project area to date occurs near, or at, surface and is hosted in poorly consolidated sandstones, minor conglomerates, and mudstones. In addition, uranium and vanadium mineralization also has been found in fractures and zones of secondary porosity within the weathered basement rocks
as well as in the regolith debris at the basement unconformity.

The PEA describes the potential viability of the mineral resources to support a surficial mining operation at the Ivana deposit to mine 22.7 million pounds of U308 and 11.5 million pounds of V2O5 over a period of 13 years with a short payback period of only 2.4 years.

Wango -
So.... lower thicker zone, primary, weathered basement rock, regolith debris,
2019 - 22.7 million lbs U308   0.037%
2024  -16.5 million lbs U308   0.039%

Sounds like the lower zone = decayed / erroded basement rock.
MARIA ZONE - less than 1 km from Ivana south west zone = hard rock with uranium ( pit digs )

  WILD CARDS
- loose rock over 1 um size
- hard rock basement

Drill Stats
https://blueskyuranium.com/site/assets/files/5996/2022aug08_table_1__amarillo_grande_total_drill_summary.pdf

Map reveals a good 7 km inside Ivana constraint
Not including sw zone outside constraint

Drill report i find very interesting...
If there is loose rock and erroded basement rock then... what do the drill reveal ?

Are deeper holes boring erroded basement thicker richer grades ?

Drill Chart - 1st hole
AGI - 630
14m - 18m ( 4 m interval )  238 ppm U
14m - 15m ( 1 m interval )  580 ppm U  ( same hole lower zone )

More than double the grade -  at depth

Some holes are only 1 - 2 meters deep.
Suggesting - auger drill hit basement rock / can't auger deeper.

Yet.... article above  reveals lower zone,
primary style of uranium ( coffinite) versus cake carnotite
add in loose rock - procesding study / milling / stockpile
add in Maria pit digs - hard rock

BSK used FlexiROC D65 drill rig
https://www.epiroc.com/content/dam/epiroc/surface-and-exploration/1-surface-drill-rigs/2-flexiroc/flexiroc-d65_d60/frd65_web_pdf/9868%200298%2001f%20Epiroc%20FlexiROC%20D65%20brochure_WEB.pdf

What's needed ?
BSK to speak in terms of.... confirming lower drill cores are entering erroded basement rock
which is mineralized with V and U and.... are higher grades. Or... lower drills are entering
gravel rocks ( heavies ) which are mineralized.

Maria zone
speaks volumes ( pit dig hardrock
no...not the surface sands whereby lower grades are shown.

Would be interesting to see an intercept value assigned to each - drill dot
would a 1 meter intercept be aside a 9 meter intercept ?
Block modelling the resouce would be very difficult.
Would the block modelling engineer average out the 1 m to 9m - interpole ?
Or.... apply an interpole of - 1 m to both zones ?

Interior of Ivana's U shape
= not drilled
= would support Picos watershed tail hitting hardrock mound = erroding mound
= Picos lower left shoulder erroded - rocks are seen = creation of Ivana mound ?

For shhhh and giggles....( not investment advice )
7000m x 1000m x 2m mineralization avg x 2.1 ore weight x 0.039% x 2200 lb conversion
= 25,225,200  U lbs

7000m x 1000m x 3m mineralization x 2.1 ore weight x 0.039% x 2200 lb conversion
=
37,837,800  U lbs

Drill Char ( first 20 drills = 68 meters ) not factoring ( included intervals )
= 3.25 m average depth

Next 20 holes
58m intercept ~ 20 holes
= 2.85 m avg

Next 20 holes
60m intercept ~ 20 holes
3 m avg

Next 20 holes   ( arrives at 2nd page 1 hole )
54 m intercept ~ 20 holes
= 2.7 m avg

Next 20 holes
68m intercept ~ 20 holes   ( last hole set of 20 only 1m  ( 0m - 1m )  lol  what's below ?
= 3.4 m avg

Next 20 holes
84m interval ~ 20 holes
= 4.2 m avg

Thus far.... ( eyes are worn didn't finish rest of chart )
19.4 ~ six sets of 20 holes
= 3.23 m  avg

7000m x 1000m x 3.23 m mineralization x 2.1 ore weight x 0.039% x 2200 lb conversion
  40,738,698   U lbs

Again... is a 1m hole really represenative of the zone ?
Rock chip from exposed basement
Erroded rock but not sands ?
Gravel rocks ?
Only redox accounted ?
Why only 1 meter ?
Lots of 1 meter intercepts.

And of course....
rocks seen in photos well over 1 um and well over 2mm
Just like in article above.

https://resourceworld.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/Blue-Sky-Uranium-1024x613.jpg

Would you wash and scrub or.... mill it ?
I'm seeing lots of green from small angular rocks and inside the quartz.
Well over 1 um sizing.

I do admire the Ivana.
Just needs a few more details.

Cheers.....
