RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Time to start buybacksBNE produces about 8K Bpd of pure liquid (light oil and NGLs). This market cap is insane.

CJ and BNE are very different companies.

CJ has a much higher liquids cut near 100%. It is mostly heavy oil and it has one of the lowest decline rates in the patch. Tough to do with liquids.  Lots of production from water flood and they are growing in 6000 barrel increments with sequential SAGD projects coming. Debt will be moving up but it is easily affordable. They even have a great new light oil property

a dividend with a high yield hasn't prevented the stock from dropping but I think its a fantastic company. The 10% decline rate make a dividend easier to maintain. It is a bargain at a billion dollar market cap. Is it worth 8x BNE? No chance.

BNE has been held back by the 40% gas weighting but they can point to a huge increase in top tier drilling locations, extremely cheap, quality, land acquisitions, production growth above 16,000 boe.

Not much point in growing production right now when buybacks are way more accretive. The trading volumes are so low that margin clearing is impacting the share price
