Economic Gold Concentration IndexThe concentration index is easily calculated from FS .
It is merely that percentage of rock within the optimized pit that is above cutoff grade and is milled.
For example, Vakentine Lake has a concentration index of 8.5%.
Another orogenic, Goldboro has a 12% concentration index.
FS within the optimized pit have been intensively drilled by definition drilling and grade control such that gold grade spatial stratifications can be made..high grade medium grade and low grade..the rest is waste .
There is no FS for QWN to directky compare but Keats Trench Channel sampling data are equally intensively sampled and should qualify for direct comparision with V Lake and Goldboro .
Keats Trench has a concentration index of over 14% .
Its a small area so the difference should not be signifucant .
But, despite the bashers continually stating that QWN ore is too heterogenous for economic mining ..ie veins spaced too widely apart....Keats Trench spatial concentration index fits quite nicely with the FS
of both V Lake and Goldboro, both orogenic siblings of QWN..
