RE:RE:Crypto’s surgingGold down for a few reasons:

1) Certainty.  The election was a clear and immediate victory for trump so fears of uncertainty are no longer with us.

2) USD:  US dollar index surged almost 2% which makes gold more expensive.........those currencies hurt the most are the ones who are buying gold the most.

3)  Lift in US equityies and Crypto.  Money moving into US equities (see 1 above) and Trump is a cypro supporter as well which has led to fund flows into major cryptos.....at expense of gold..........

4) Expectation of continued strenght in USD due to Trump policies and potentially a shrinking US trade deficit....
