RE:potashsw248, all of the companies promoting this novel tech are in pause mode, and after Western ran into cavern trouble, the gates seemed to have slammed shut for any further capital. Buffalo / Continental, Evolution, Gensource, Western, Encanto, and even Karnalyte has been idle
Some talk about using this mining method in Argentina, but so far just chin wagging by a Canadian Company hoping to sell this methodology in South America
Padcom with the assistance of BPPC built their mine on a really tight budget, and once they started to initially produce, Padcom went a different direction.
I believe BPPC is willing to help those idle companies with their cavern construction, but based on all the failures and Beechies model being the only one to show any results, I hope the folks at Beechy are asking a kings ransom for their tech.
For more than a decade so many juniors in this sector jumped on the hype train making execs millions in promoting a technology without really knowing what was actually involved with proving up this novel extraction method.
60 years of attempts and failures made a really cool story for the promotors, and they ran with it as they hyped they were going to be the first to prove it.
70 years later and still not one horizontal selective solution mine mine in Sask producing viable potash.
I guess you could say not all miners in the sector were unsuccesful, as those who mined shareholders wallets the last decade enjoyed very lucrative success!
