RE:Looks like I'm mistaken about how fast shares are being
Hi Crazytrader
I am long on PXT for the share buy backs alone
they have been very consistant
they can only buy 10% of the float for cancalation annually
this is why the aloted amount drops each year of what they can purchase on the open market
ie next year 10% of 97 mil they will be able to buy 9.7 mil next year
the float will be 98 mil and change at the end of the month
they buy 30,000 shares per day (everyday for the last few months ) also no black out periods for this
this is up from 20,000 per day when shares were 22-26 bucks
the price dropped and they stepped up the buying amounts
160 to 98 mil was over 8 years
but massive reduction and huge rewards for shareholders
as the float tightens the share price will climb
I believe the will be close to 7 mil bought for the year maybe they find a way to top it up to the 10 and change alllowed
either way I have never owned a company that is reducing share count at this pace and not issuing and shares in years
very very positive for a shareholder
I am LONG
so next year we should be in the 80ies mil share count
they spent between 7-10 million a month on buy backs
huge long term reward for all remain shareholders
