RE:RE:RE:HOW MUCH SPRINT PAID FOR BBD PLANTS BELFAST, MOROCOW. etc..I hear you Lets.

But the issue is not about any of those things we are discussing. I'm just saying that, the issue for me is very simple. Why should we get distracted from the building of planes for customers, and get into Aerostructures right now??? That's the question.

This company doesn't do well when it spreads itself out too thin. The need for re-patriating Belfast doesn't outweigh the survival of Bombardier. We cant just re-patriate every manufacturer or supplier of Aerostructures out there. Small tier 2 or 3 manufacturers is one thing, where we outlay very little cash, or just managing their delays, but the size of Belfast is another. Taking on this task is a real distraction right now.

Just saying that maybe for someone such like Safran, it's easier operate it right now? If Boeing /Spirit want to unload it, then give it to Safran.

Personally. After reading the Loveplanes article posted this morning on Boeing balling out Spirit with a cash infusion, is just what I wanted to hear. Boeing isn't going to let Spirit go under. Because if Spirit goes, so does Boeing, and even Airbus to some extent. If Airbus is also a small partner at Spirit according to the article? Then were just fine. Those 2 giants are giong to make the Spirit survival, a reality. Safran is Parisian so is Airbus well. They'll figure it out. Safran is huge. 92K employees, and $23B in Revs in 2023. Taking on 1500 to 2000 employees at Belfast right now, is nothing for them

A new factory in Wichita would appease Trump with lots of good new US jobs, likely deal with potential tariffs, plus there are 17,000 laid off workers from Boeing and maybe they are stilled in fuselage and wing manufacturing?

I really don't know anything about that end of the business, but I am saying its worth exploring since I've read Belfast is outdated, inefficient, old and is a money losing pig.  Why not have a brand new factory for a fraction of the cost?  I don't even have know if we have spare land at Wichita to build on
