RE:RE:RE:RE:CFRA: A contrarian view I agree with Gabriel.
We have speculators or shorters or flippers or swing traders in EVERY stock. It's natural and no big deal.
But you have to figure out what this investment and its potential is worth based on one's own research and due diligence. Mind you some investors on this board are much more advanced than the rest of us and have gone through a great deal of devoting personal time and research and have really kicked the tires by talking to the CEO and chairman and maybe board of directors on how to unlock shareholder value and grow Aecon big time in this very transformational point in the companies success going forward. Gabriel did the same kind of due diligence and research at SNC and the results of his regular posts have proved their weight in gold.
We should be grateful for that added due diligence we are getting here whereas most executives would not spend their time talking with nobody's unless you had a "material" investment in their company.
I am a construction guy in a very large construction company and we have already forecast inthe next 3 years of business for ourselves and the projects out there in the pipeline are very large, robust and required. We will be extremely busy over the next 3 years at a "minimum".
Bottom line folks is to do your own research and invest accordingly. When you are positive then invest big in a limited number of stocks and ignore the mediocre or stocks with poor fundamentals. Go big and swing for the fences when you are sure. You do not have to swing at every pitch. Wait for that fat pitch to cross your plate when you are indeed sure. That's how the wealthiest investors of my generation made their fortunes. My guess is we will have our share of wealthy here too imo.
