RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Spirit, deliveries etc..Lets.

From what I know about your questions above. Hopefully Benual will reply.

1. I think the operations are interconnected, in many ways, and would have to be separated. Since the plants were only producing Bombardier parts in the past, it didn't matter for them to separate them. But now that Airbus has taken over the CSeries parts production side, there has to be some separation involved. Airbus can probably work with Bombrdier easier to separate the plants, than another purchaser, since they did work with us when they got the CSeries for free. It would be sensible for Airbus to buy the rest of Belfast, and keep producing the Bomber parts there. It would simplify everything. Their deal with Spirit though would take some time to close (June of 2025). So I just think Airbus is giving Spirit some time, to work with other prospects for the 60%, before Airbus makes the suggestion to Spirit to acquire the rest of Belfast. These type of deals between these giants, are not publicly available, and we don't know, or we aren't privy to what's really going on, on purpose, until it unfolds. Sedar, nor everyone else won't know either, until the deal closes. Why should they make the info available to us until they close the deal? That's my beef too, because I think they're public companies and they should tell their shareholders some of these things. Hope Benual can shed some light here on the plant interconnectedness.

2. Benual said last time he posted, that the equipment is old, and the factories are very labour intensive. The Irish plants have one of the highest skilled Aerostructures labor force in the world. He didn't expand at the time, so hopefully he can this time.

3. I'm sure the relocation to the US is possible. The Witchita Kansas Lear operations could have some space. But Witchita may need some reno work, and hopefully will not interfere with the Bomber plans for the military expansion. The other question is the existing employees of Belfast. Do they wanna relocate? Can we operate without them? If we pay them enough who knows? I understood from Benual that they are paid cheaper than the Canadian employees. I'm doing this from memory.

4. Morocco was built by the Bomber, and I think they make tail fins, Brake systems, and flight control systems for the CRJ. Though that could have changed since the opening. They originally started with 150 employees there, and expected to expand to 800 in the future. I don't know if Benual has any current info, he's retired now for some years, so how old is his info, I don't know?

5. I don't think that Spirit has a factory in Mexico? I know Bombardier does. They have airplane parts facilities, and welding facilities from the old BT operations there as well. I know they just converted every facility to Aerostructures parts there after the sale of BT to Alstom.

I hope Benual responds. He didn't respond before. I think he just put me on Ignore. He thought I was a racist against the Irish, because I said the Irish unions there were too hard to deal with, and our Pension liabilities there were very high to those Bomber employees. Let's just be patient and see if he'll respond. He may respond to you as oposed to me? So keep asking him to let us in on some more info, on the Belfast work. Post separately yo him, if you have to. Cheers

Last time we talked was when you were in Portugal in fact. Did you have a good time? I understood from you that you were an ex-bomber employee and you were somewhat familiar with Belfast. Am I right?

Listen I hate to put you to work, but I want your opinion here on this Belfast situation. Can you give me and the posters here your opinion on whether it would smart for Bombardier to buy Belfast? Assuming off course that they can buy it cheap, and get say $200M kick back from Spirit for taking over 60% of Belfast off their hands? And your ideas about whether it would smart to relocate the Operation to either Canada or Mexico? Because when Airbus takes the 40% CSeries part out of Belfast next year they'll also take Morocco. If you know costs for relocation it would help as well

Also can you give us some insight on the Belfast plants condition (if you know) and whether it would be wise for Bombardier to stay put in Belfast and why that is so? Thanks

Benual, I'd also love to know more about Belfast as well.  Further questions:
  1. Is the Airbus and Bombardier completely seperate operations or are they interconnected in some way?
  2. I understand the plant that produces equipment for Bombardier is old and obsolete?  I have no idea if that is true, its what I've read and could be completely untrue.  Can you give a general condition of the plant and its equipment
  3. In addition to 859's comment about relocation, could it also be relocated to the USA?
  4. From this site, it would appear Morocco is going entirely to Airbus?  what does Spirit produce for Bombardier in Morocco?  https://www.spiritaero.com/news/acquisition/
  5. From the above site, I don't see anything about Spirit operations in Mexico.  Can you please tell us about them and what it does for Bombardier
Thank you very much in advance
