Without "selling" a percentage of the company, what else could be done except work the science down the course of the trial and continue proving that it works through the data. So long as the company can maintain the patient treatment and data - the rest get's worked out on its own time line. There's no other choice. Except to complain.

I apologize in advance if this has been discussed, but how long is our IP protected here? 

Wouldnt it be a better strategy to wait out movement in the FDA's designation or ongoing funding faltering before trying to make a move?
