RE:YFI; early, late, or not even in the game? LOL

RE:YFI; early, late, or not even in the game? LOL(edited to fix my first sentence and put Shammy's essay at the bottom because of its length that noone probably would even scroll by to see my proof)

Shammy, why am I not surprised that your essay is BS? The basis of your entire argument as quoted below is just hogwash. I just gave one example but there are many. Anyone can look up the interactions with key players, followed by industry news articles. So what went wrong? Lets compare Edgewater with another well known WiFi Company that made their debut and meticulously forged ahead without the help of the penny stock market and made a very successful company. They make product, they have huge income, they have a large part of the market, and they were initially disruptive... all the boasting and promises that YFI and MCSR made....  and they did it in half the time while YFI is apparently still in the incubation stage after 12 years. (Plume)

"In the real world the iincumbents of this industry have never publically admitted to the presence of MCSR, or its future potential commercial viability."

Edgewater Next Generation Hotspot (NGH) Provisioning demo conducted at the WGC London event:
"Edgewater Wireless was proud to work with Comcast, Nokia, Global Reach and BSG Wireless on a ‘first-of-its-kind’ innovation that has vast application."

Project contributors:

  • Cole Reinwand, VP XFINITY WiFi, Comcast and WBA Board Member
  • Josh Redmore, Lead Architect, Wireless R&D, Cablelabs (Demo)
  • Sundeep Goswami, Sr. Director, Product Development, Comcast
  • Toufic Kourbeh XFINITY WiFi Sr Performance Engineer, Comcast
  • Chris Spencer, CTO, GlobalReach
  • Charlie Allgrove, Technical Architect, BSG Wireless
  • Eric Smith, VP Product, Edgewater Wireless

Fortunately, this is where hindsight can help answers these questions although speculation will always take center stage.

Let`s start off by identifying the opponents as Us," YFI" versus Them "Single Channel Status Quo"

Next; start the clock at UpRamp and the performance results from Kyrio Labs, and including everything all YFI achievements up to our latest press release.

One thing is noticeably absent throughout this period, both the real world and  paricularly on this forum. In the real world the iincumbents of this industry have never publically admitted to the presence of MCSR, or its future potential commercial viability. I have never witnessed even an industry response to YFIs general performance claims or even formal refutation of the POC results.  The media: Nada, niente.  So what happened, did a fairy just wave a magic wand and we get selected by Silicon Catalyst?   Why the 8 year silence by the status quo? Are we just a new kid on the block?

Academic theories for these answers abound, speculatve but not unprecedented in this industry, and all so plausible. Search for them ,and once you become enlightened by some real world knowledge you can ask particular posters here why they never included it in their so called impartial discussions, and instead solely finger pointing at YFI for always being late. Maybe, just maybe YFI was the one that was not late.

Their silence always implied that everything said and done by the status quo was right, and it always favored the consumers interests never to be questioned. Their vocal statements always implied, or inferred that YFIs technology was outdated, and useless, and furthermore by implication the integrity and intentions of the management was to be always questioned. HMMMMmmmmm!

Thus my past statements: "I judge you not only for what you are saying, but sometimes, and more importantly by what you are not saying."

If I am wrong, ask them what efforts they have undergone to either officially forewarn Silicon Catalyst that they are making a mistake, or better yet, why don`t they infer or imply they are being complicit in their summation of YFIs intentions. Besides, they are only here to look after your interests since they deem you incapable. LOL
