Nevada Copper Corp is a Canada-based mining company. The Company is engaged in the development, operation, and exploration of its copper project (the Project) at its Pumpkin Hollow Property (the Property) in Western Nevada, United States of America. RE:RE:RE:Delays in newsShadiness, certainly. And the underhanded and misleading statements and press releases started years earlier from this group.

In answer to your question about why Buffington did not 'sign off' on those 'bad news' press releases, I can only speculate. Looking at the timing and the events which were rapidly unfolding around then, I'd take a guess that he was already gone and awaiting the official announcement of his termination. Perhaps he was negotiating his departure in hopes of keeping his stock options, RSU's etc.?
