RE:This year's Capital destroyer award goes tofor a company that keeps going on about becoming a techo company why have they not read the market sentiment and put together a game plan presentation for investors outlining expansion location, numbers for new customers and how they plan to handle the competition threats of discounts and prices . They went on about retrenching in Canada because competitors were discounting so much to explain thier lousy numbers maybe they can explain how zippy will not suffer the same fate and if they do not compete with deep discounts in Canada how will they react when thier USA competiton decide their not going to roll over for bce.
They don't operate in a vacuum here and won't there either and they have much bigger compnies with deeper pockets to contend with.As far as insider buying is concerned ask the question why were'nt they buying at 50-45.
Ask yourslf do they really have a plan or was the acquistion done to provide an excuse for freezing the dividend and setting the stage for cuts in the near future due to the capitall intensity required to let zippy survive.
