Sienna Senior Living Inc. is a Canada-based senior living provider. The Company offers a full range of senior living options, including independent living (IL), assisted living (AL) and memory care (MC) under its Aspira retirement brand, long-term care (LTC), and specialized programs and services. The Company owns and operates senior living residences in the Provinces of British Columbia, Saskatchewan and Ontario. The Company owns and operates a total of approximately 82 senior living residences: 40 retirement residences (RRs) (including the Company's 50% joint venture interest in 12 residences in Ontario and Saskatchewan); 34 LTC communities; and eight senior living residences providing both private-pay IL/AL and funded LTC (including the Company's joint ownership in two residences in British Columbia). RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:not impressed at allone metric tells it all : -12% in the last 5 years and the stock price at 2016 level. Agree about the good operational performance expectation, what analysts don't factor-in is the addiction of management to capital dilution and I hope they will not, again, issue tons of new shares as soon as the stock price starts to improve. CIBC or whatever analyst can recommand what they want, the past experience is clear: SIA is underperforming all its peers, they need to do better. PS: that will be my last posting on this topic and I'm giving one prediction: AFFO/share will decline sharply (again) in 2025.
