RE:RE:RE:RE:Northvolt is bleeding cash … some loosing big These EV battery plants are the call centers of the past. Call centers were notorious for setting up shop in a city, receiving government funding/tax breaks, make big announcements... then within 3 years move to another city, rinse and repeat. EV companies and government officials are using the same model but on a global/national scale. It's nothing more than a strategy to launder as much of the public funds into their personal accounts before closing shop, moving or declaring creditor protection and closing shop, only to setup elsewhere under a new name/corporate identity.

You just can't make this up!! Exclusive: Canadian pensions manager invests $400 million in Swedish battery maker Northvolt
"Northvolt really fits with a lot of the trends we are trying to invest in," Rossitsa Stoyanova, IMCO's Chief Investment Officer, said in an interview, referring to themes including the transition to a lower-carbon economy and the restructuring of global supply chains.
"Whether it (Northvolt) goes public or stays private, we've done our homework and we are happy with the investment."

Only if he hands over tens of billions of our money to bribe them to come here. Now word on the street is the EV makers are trending away from building cheap EVs because they can't make money on them. With people lining up at food banks and 200 bucks away from bankruptcy and people like BCs NDP and Castreau insisting we have to all buy an expensive EV in the coming years, the writing is on the wall for these imbeciles.
