Back then "tough as nails" Calin Rovinescu tried to bully Chorus too. If Air Canada thinks they can cover their routes without Chorus let them try. They can't. Chorus needs AC as much as AC needs Chorus. A deal will happen.

Chorus doesn't operate an airline. it leases out its planes to Air Canada, though it seems to have sold off its newly acquied division.
Chorus is profitable. has been for a while, spirit not so much,
Chorus should be trading a hihger prices, imo, and used to pay a dividend, but since covid this stock has been a dog. not sure why its rallying other than the sale of the divison must be favourably viewed by analysts.

but copany trades at a discount to its BV so if all the assets were sold off, there would money left over to repay shareholders.
