RE:How does a special div help you? They give a divy of $5 shrIt is kind of like this, POU has been planning for events like this for a long time, and it is one of the ways it pay shareholders. Tax planning is alway in place.
Other ways of paying the shareholder are like this.
Historically we got shares of VII Generations
Shares
I would not be surprized to see NVA 31.3 million shares handed out .2 of a share for every share of POU you own, that could be one payday about $2.60 a share.
Cash special dividend, etc.
Long term share holders of POU come to terms with the knowledge that the company is always trading at a discount, and management "Riddells" have control of the company in the form of shares that they purchased and it can't be bought unless they want to sell it.
They make the best decisions not based on what the stock trades for next week because this is a generational business, and shareholders here own part of a faimly business.
The company has significantly more value than is currently represented in the share price and the stock will appreciate as more of the companies plans come to light.
We don't know the plan for what JR has for that roughly 4 billion dollars, but i don't think the stock is going down from here.
But we do know they have a fleet of drilling rigs that will be drilling wells, we may get the results of Sinclair test wells in Q1. Wilesden green 50,000 boe/day will happen sooner. Duvernay will be drilled to the nameplacte capacity.
However i am sure there are a few more rabbits to be pulled out of the hat as the deal unfolds.
IMHO
