Lawyer, Candice Alderson, joins Artemis Gold as senior vice president, corporate affairs

Artemis Gold Inc., a Vancouver-headquartered gold development company, has appointed lawyer Candice Alderson as senior vice president, corporate affairs, effective Feb. 15. She will assist in executing the company’s strategy relating to stakeholder and government affairs.

Alderson, based in the company’s Vancouver office, is also tasked with managing key relationships and contracts for the company’s Blackwater Gold Project. She is equipped with experience in legal matters, finance matters and major project management.

“Her very relevant experience, particularly in the construction and development space, will be invaluable as we work to advance the Blackwater project and its associated infrastructure, secure construction & key supply contracts working with our partners in preparation for a start of construction in Q2 2022,” said Steven Dean, the company’s chairman and chief executive officer, in the news release.
