Actually, I will exercise my warrants once stock price hits around $1 or more. I'll need to sell some shares in order to have the money for exercising the warrants. I'm not familiar with Canadian tax law but here in the states there is a preferential treatment for capital gains held for more than a year. The holding period for the warrants begins when I send the money to exercise the warrants. Long term capital gains tax is 20% versus ordinary income tax rates for capital assets held less than a year. My concern here is that Theralase won't be around for long after BTD or AA is granted. A stock swap with big pharma would negate my concerns. glta
