Boson Energy, in collaboration with Siemens, is planning to establish over 300 waste-to-hydrogen plants globally by 2030. These facilities aim to convert non-recyclable waste into hydrogen using Boson’s plasma-assisted gasification technology. The process also produces industrial-grade CO, which can be stored or used. The initiative targets a production capacity of 1 million tons of hydrogen annually while potentially avoiding up to 30 million tons of CO emissions per year.
This ambitious plan will begin with installations in Sweden, Poland, and Germany, expanding to other European and global markets. Siemens will provide automation, digitalization, and electrification technologies to enhance scalability and efficiency, supporting Boson Energy’s vision of sustainable hydrogen production and energy security .
