RE:Most of these companies are uninvestible The fact that there are buyers daily means that there are those willing to invest in the stock.
Many companies that went in to be successful at one point or another seen lows that were never expected by investors.
I can agree that not all companies will succeed however that is the nature of the markets, I will also point out that a shareprice trend is not a surefire means to identify those who will or will not succeed.
Fundamentals help gauge performance. EPS trend, EPS vs others within the sector, Price to Sales Ratios (relative to peers) etc can help understand the health and trend for the business.
Healthy numbers can accompany poor SP trends and poor numbers can accompany good SP trends. The market does not always align with fundamentals however the fundamentals give some of the strongest and most reliable insight to longer term movements.
When investing be sure to know ahead of time if you're in it for short periods of time or you're going to tough out longer periods.
There WILL be winners, there WILL be losers. The choice is yours to try and research and determine which is which or just to lead around by public opinion on stock forums.
