Say the Chinese tv cost $1,000 X 60% (contemplated)= $1,600. Who's going to pay for that? The Chinese firms won't reduce their price. The US consumer will eat the Tarrif.  The American companies that prduce tv's will increase their pricelso too to get the new inflated price. This is just 1 item from the thousands of items that the US trades with China.

Canada trades Hydro, Building material like lumber, cement etc. Oil & gas. The cost of the Inflation involved here is outrageous. It's shockingly heinous to the US consumer. This kind of inflation is evil.

That's why it won't happen.

Good day for the shorts though.

One good thing today was, the Isreali-Lebanese ceasefire.

Rumour had it that, this Orange orangatan's friend Musk wanted to buy Ford recently. This BS head fakes from Trump, will persist for the next 4 years. Then they'll put him in jail when he's done.

859, good luck with Musk buying Ford, the Ford family controls 40% of the vote.  Stellantis was down 4.79% today as well.  Ford got off light at -2.63%

While I want to see Trump in jail, he will be 82 when he leaves office and since he eats a ton of junk good incl KFC not sure he will still be alive.  He's also going thru cognitive decline, its pretty obvious

859, damn you get it!  Do you might educating the 75 million Americans who voted for Trump and likely a bunch more who didn't vote but believe in the sewage that comes from his mouth?  Eating the dogs and cats anyone.

I also had to look it up and three televisions are assembled in the USA (all with foreign made components):  Sura (who?), SkyVue (who?), SunBrite (again who?)

As for Sham, I agree about him being ultra pessimistic, almost to the point I am thinking about putting him on ignore
