Here's how I see this playing out. NDP and Bloc are standing in the House and in the media feigning upset about the exclusion of groups from receiving the gift. At the 11th hour liberals will cave and give to all. NDP and Bloc will crow to their base about how they forced liberals to give to all.
House will convene for a vote. They will vote on the $250 and gst tax holiday. Conveniently Turdeau will also have the house vote on bill c63 the online harms act (censorship law). Liberals with help of NDP will pass the bill. Canadians will have given away their right to free speech for a measely $250.
Everything we're seeing with the $250 and gst holiday is theater. It's intent is to buy time as they prepare c63 while throwing a bone to the Bloc and ndp.
Trudeau is following the orders given to all western WEF nations. Online censorship like what's occurred in UK and very soon in Australia and New Zealand is on its way here.
