RE: Question for our Oilfield Experts

RE: Question for our Oilfield Expertsricebrnr, good to hear from you again. I agree that at CTU (or endless tubing unit)can be used to recomplete or drillout a horizontal lateral, but I must disagree on the plugs, etc. There have been many advances in the technology, and inflatable plugs can be run through tubing and be set in casing. CTU's can also spot cement, perform fracs, have the capability to have e-lne in them, can run pressure activated perf guns, etc. All depends on the well and what's in there. As you state though, it would be nice to see the program, or at least get some more info. Speculating on the what if's, how's it done, etc is not beneficial for anyone. Based on what has been posted here, and what's been in various NR's and intrviews, it is my belief that no rig will be placed on this well to "re-complete" it. I take this to mean that no dramatic measures will be needed in attempts to optimize the existing well bore during the re-completion. Probably some basic, straightforward measures. But then again, who knows except those working on the program.
