Trump's first announcements of a 25% tariff are a penalty for Canada and Mexico's Porous and open borders. It is only the first salvo. Our only way forward is to align, and most of what Trump wants out of Canada and Mexico we should be doing anyhow.

Trump likes to burn one's house down then the negotiations begin. I doubt 25% will be the final number more likely 10%. In some instances likely zero which Alberta energy will likely be exempt from a tariff.
