Gran Tierra Energy Inc. is an independent international energy company. The Company is focused on international oil and natural gas exploration and production with assets in Colombia and Ecuador. The Company has interests in approximately 22 blocks in Colombia, three blocks in Ecuador, and is the operator of 24 of these blocks. Its assets in Colombia represent approximately 97% of its production with oil reserves and production located in the Middle Magdalena Valley (MMV) and Putumayo Basin. In MMV, the Company’s field is the Acordionero field, where it produces approximately 17-degree American Petroleum Institute (API) oil, which represents 52% of total company production. The Putumayo production is approximately 27-degree API for Chaza Block and 18-degree API for Suoriente Block, representing 25% and 13% respectively, of total company production. It also has production base in Canada's hydrocarbon region, the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin and appraisal assets in the North Sea.

RE:RE:Coverage initiation by Canaccord Genuity’s Mike Mueller...What's your point 007?! While it's obvious that GTE does not trade with high volume, it has consistently traded above 7000 shares.

I have just recently become a new GTE shareholder via their acquisition of i3 Energy and have been doing some due diligence on Gran Tierra to decide if I will continue to hold or divest.

One of the first things I do when I enter a forum and someone responds to a post that I make, is to check a couple of their previous posts on the stock for credibility.

The comment below comes from your post of Nov.4th...

"Man what a con game ...how dare they announce a1million barrel production from Equidor ...read closer and that's the total produced over 2 years...lol ...way to misdirect the facts you creeps ..l"

In the news release of Nov. 4th, 2024, it clearly states the following...
  • Gran Tierra Announces its Sixth Consecutive Ecuador Oil Discovery from the Charapa-B7 Well and Has Achieved Cumulative Production of Over 1 Million Barrels of Oil in Ecuador
Additionally, it is stated a 2nd time in the release... "having our six consecutive discovery in Ecuador and reaching the milestone of 1 million cumulative bbls of oil produced from our operations in Ecuador..."

There is NO misdirection on the part of Gran Tierra in those excerpts. It looks to me like you are the one who should have read closer or who is misdirecting.

Btw, for a company like Gran Tierra Energy, producing 1 million barrels of oil over 2-3 years is a respectable achievement, especially for a company operating in a region like Ecuador, where they focus on developing and producing oil from conventional hydrocarbon basins. 

While it may not compare to the production levels of major oil-producing countries, it demonstrates strong operational capabilities and successful exploration efforts.
