JEV developing new electrolyzer technology JEV posted a new presentation on its website which introduces ETNA Solutions, a majority-owned entity focused on green hydrogen production. ETNA has developed the
High Output Thermogenic Electrolyzer (HOT-E), a proprietary technology designed for the
lowest levelized cost for green hydrogen production. The HOT-E prototype is test running at the California NanoSystems Institute at UC Santa Barbara, where it has demonstrated >25% reduction in levelized cost of green hydrogen. You can view the full presentation here:

Green hydrogen remains expensive and in short supply, but the demand is immense. The market for a cost-efficient electrolyzer spans multiple industries, making HOT-E a potential game-changer. Additionally, JEV’s own boilers, which rely on hydrogen as a fuel source, could synergize with HOT-E. As more boilers are installed, JEV/HTC could supply clean hydrogen directly on-site, creating a vertically integrated solution.
