For both companies: more $$$ and outlook moving forward.....I suspect the way this deal was negotiated and presented as a "win-win" so the overall news would not leave Honeywell looking like they lost their case and had to pay Bombardier as much as $400M for overcharging on pre arranged deals. For Honeywell to publically conceed wrongdoing and then outright pay Bombardier the cash isn't good business publicity. Both companies need each other moving forward and there's more business ahead for both companies by working together. Hopefully Honeywells' technology continues to be state of the art and class leading!
