On that picture sitting next to Trump is Mike Waltz, nominated as national security adviser. Further on the right with a partial face blocked, I believe is Doug Burgum, the governor of North Dakota who is picked to run the Interior Department.
Doug believes that natural gas should play an important role in electricity generation. He sees increased demand and is favouring reliable baseload capacity which can only be nuclear or natural gas. That is contrary to PM Trudeau, whose net zero policy will put a lid on construction of new gas plants such as reliable and efficient CCGT.
Trudeau is smiling pretending that he is respected and not in a wrong company. But it's nice and warm in Florida and the food is good.
