RE:RE:RE:Hey Riotintoe

RE:RE:RE:Hey RiotintoeWell Sooner, apples to apples isn't really possible as you've mentioned... If we're doing back of the envelope figuring, while sitting around the kitchen table having a conversation, I'd say based on published information, Casino is roughly double the size of Winu with "overall" similar grading.  However, we know the proposed Casino project is only 1/3 of the currently known deposit.  As far as Winu's full potential, not much is known outside of Rio Tinto.

If a person wanted to glean Rio Tinto's true feelings about Winu, look no further than recent published reports in the Australian press which revealed Rio felt that the project was better suited for a mid-tier (or lower) firm as they were actively shopping it in whole or in part.

A couple of other interesting tidbits since we're discussing a Pilbara mine project, De Grey's Hemi project, which contains roughly 13 -14 million oz. of gold, was sold for 3.3 billion U.S.

Also, some may have forgotten that Sumitomo had a presence in the Yukon through its involvement with the Minto mine.
