RE:RE:400 Million Cut From HoneywellHey Temp.
You got a basketball team named after you here in Toronto today. They chose the name TEMPO for Toronto's proffessional WNBA team. Seriously. The Toronto Tempo. I'll still call you Temp though.
On a more important note. I think what Luke is saying about getting a credit of engines from HON is feasable. That's why yesterday I asked Stockitnow to price the HTF7350. That's the engine that goes into the CL 350. I figured that even if Bombardier bought 30 pairs of engines for 30 to 40 CL 350 deliveries this 2024 and 2025 say even at $7M a pair. Then that's almost the $200M they would get in the court filling. Plus some of the settlement cash could go towards the development of a new certification. The rest could go to their proposed JV whatever that is? This of couse is all here say. We'll see what they tell us in the ER. They're obviously not going to be saying anything till then.
This also makes sense on the writedown that HON took on their books. So they are showing $400M less sales which is right. But that doesn't explain a bigger writedown on FCF of $500M. Is this the extra cash needed for the JV? This structure could be a possibility. Also this could be a more complicated deal that we think. And that why the Bomber is silent?

It's OK for an Honeywell explanation but 400M$ free engines for Bombardier is a material change to the bottom line. They haven't disclose anything !!!!
This 400 M$ is still a foggy picture.
