@ordosMy notes from the interview with Bernard (HPQ Silicon): Fumed silica update ===========================

- We are just taking the time required to do it well. We know it is going to work, we are very confident. Timelines are somewhat fluid in R&D processes - Bernard: I had no doubt that we would have offtake agreements once we validate the system

- When we make it, then the race starts in finalizing something concrete. Evonik did let HPQ know that they are already ready to start these discussions, but HPQ/Pyrogenesis prefer to get to full validation, at which point they will have stronger negotiation position - Based on the current information, as per Bernard, we will have sample materials produced during December

- Bernard: I got a call from somebody who said I need this amount and type of material, can you start supplying us and can we look at working together on this? I said "Ok, sure"

- (!) It's very binary, like a switch getting flipped, as Bernard mentioned multiple times before, once we start producing the pressure to close deals is going to increase many times, and HPQ Silicon's negotiation position is going to be much stronger

- HPQ Silicon is not like 90% start ups out there with one technology, where it is either make or break, we have multiple disruptive technologies and business lines, not just fumed silica. This further strengthens negotiation position in any of the business lines HPQ business as a whole and other business lines ===================================================

- HPQ Silicon is no longer 100% dependent on Pyrogenesis as the technology supplier, now we are diversified with Novacium - Large graphite producers realized that HPQ is not a competitor, but we can actually work together. So the interest is huge, especially following the 500 cycle results - Hydrogen solution is absolutely disruptive. It solves the biggest issue with hydrogen usage and that is transportation and logistics costs. Producing hydrogen cheaper is not the biggest issues, it's the delivery to the end client

- Within 12 hours of making the NR about Metagene, Bernard was invited to present at a prestigious event for hydrogen. Suddenly we are in the "hydrogen club"

- Big picture: HPQ Silicon is much stronger now than ever, transitioning from a single technology development to multiple, and successfully - In the past 3 weeks Bernard has been approached by merchant banker who was looking to sell companies which were in the field of nano silicon materials, which indicates that the decision to focus on SiOx instead of nano silicon for batteries was the right one $PYR $QIMC
