RE:RE:Ucore Open House-- with celebrities!

RE:RE:Ucore Open House-- with celebrities!Started with 1.8 tons concentrate, containing 4% Dy, less than 1% Tb, so less than 90 kg total Dy/Tb. Ran it through at least 3 times. Don't know what portion of the less than 90 kg was recovered, at what expense and how long it took. Does it take them months of proxessing at the CDF to produce a "few" kg, if that?

The video didn't make it sound like high quantitties of Dy produced rapidly, and at low cost, is a sure thing. For all we can tell from the video, maybe it costs tens or hundred of thousands of dollars to produce product worth a thousand bucks. Or maybe an SMC will be a "goldmine" - but I harbor significant doubt about that. And don't forget, the heavy REE concentrate costs something.

On spec Dy sells for about USD 225/kg in China, and Tb for USD 780/kg.
