Unfortunately it was stopped in June/24. DRIPS are generally complex beings and the benefits far out weigh any dilution in NAV/u if management views them correctly. The cash of course stays on the balance sheet rather then being paid out in distributions. It essentially is the most cost effective manner of raising capital and can be invested wisely to benefit all the holders. Anybody concerned about dilution should simply participate to negate the possibility by obtaining discounted units. Additionally, you get more units when they are cheap.
