RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Yukon Grid Projected FundedYou don't need to grasp at straws, it is quite simple what you are witnessing here: small-time, retail investors are mostly leaving and those left will be the strong hands and the institutions such as the billionaire Kaplan and his Electrum Group.
All those jumping ship are giving away their equity for a fraction of its value. Speaking of equity, many are upset that there was a share rollback (I wasn't a fan of the high ratio, although I knew one was needed to a certain extent) but if you understand the fact that it was merely a paper move and did not affect the shareholders' pro-rata ownership of the company, it is not something to worry too much about. OK, the share price dipped, but if you have faith in the long term prospects of the PGMs or nickel it represents a golden opportunity to buy in at the bottom.
We're going back to square one for a spell it appears. Exploration company trading on the venture exchange. Only difference is this is actually an advanced development play which just happens to be out of favor at the moment due to nickel prices.
If this were a single mine operator I would've run for the hills by now. Exploration/development plays go through these cycles multiple times before the project gets to construction. We could easily be a decade or more away from a construction decision and that decision will almost assuredly be made by a major who acquires NCP for part of their pipeline.
NCP is not a trade, it is a long term speculation on the future price of commodities by those who have the patience to weather the ups and downs of junior resource stock price action. Mind you, two years ago this was a $60mm company which equates to a 20 bagger from today's levels. The risk versus reward pendulum has swung well into the camp of those taking a position at today's prices.
