RE:RE:New Press Release - Results from the Annual and Special Shareholders Meeting
First I must say that I understand your frustration Fernand. After many years in the stock, you have little to show for it (correct me if I'm wrong). And that is probably the worst feeling you can have as an owner of shares. Blaming bad management is the simplest explanation, but not necessarily always the most correct. You probably share your frustration with many here on the forum, but allow me to point out that as recently as 2020 the share value rose from today's level to well over 20 cents. I don't know how many people took the opportunity to sell out with all, or part of their holdings. But it was a unique opportunity. We have to go back to 2008 to find similar courses. Seen from that perspective, who can you blame then if you didn't do anything.

I see Abcourt as two different companies. It is before and after Hinse. Hinse is gone, and belongs to history. Transferring that history to today's company is, in my opinion, pointless, as today's attempts at operation differ significantly from those of the past, even though we are dealing with many of the same properties. The management has been replaced, new large owners have come in, the way of approaching the shareholders has changed.

One thing hasn't changed. General meetings are mostly boring. They follow a predetermined program where they vote on various points that are made known to the shareholders well in advance. And that's all. It is not an arena for bringing news in one direction or the other. Those who wait for it are always going to be disappointed.

A month ago, Abcourt held a zoom meeting with shareholders where the company's current situation and future were discussed. It was a good opportunity to ask questions to the management for those who might be interested. In addition, the plan for the company is further well communicated via their website, on YouTube and through press releases. The company also responds to emails sent by shareholders. (At least they answer mine :-) ) I have no feeling of being left in the dark.
