RE:RE:RE:60 million shares You're not going to understand Clearwater's motivations because we are not privy to any undisclosed aspects of the transaction of which you can assume there are some..  

On the other hand I think we can accurately assume that SC2 which is really a financial front for a key Sherritt supplier is 1/ concerned about the risk to their core business, and 2/ as an "on the ground" supplier sees opportunities to make Sherritt's business more efficient at currently low nickel prices and therefore more viable.

2025 should be an interesting year at Sherritt with an industry activist now in a much more powerful position than they were before yesterday.

Debt maturity Nov 2026.  Bank lines mature earlier that same year.
